A Laje
Twelve tracks follow a house built little by little: the plot, the plan, the trench, bricks, the slab, moving in, and the rebars that keep pointing at the sky.

Cais do Avesso is a Brazilian music project with a raw, intimate presence. On its fifth album, A Laje, two women and two men play like a tight band in a dry room: Brazilian instruments, acoustic guitars and understated electric guitar follow a house being built one gesture at a time.
Cais do Avesso is a virtual artist project. The music and singing voices are generated with Suno, with human direction of the writing, selection and production.

Twelve songs at the pier: ropes, tickets, boxes, engines, rain and objects that seem to leave but remain in the reflection.
Twelve tracks about small repairs, street trades and objects that hold choices.
Twelve songs crossing a couple’s whole life, from the first encounter to the final gestures.
Debut album: landscape, animals, mud, rain and silence turned into song.

Cais do Avesso turns work, streets, houses and landscapes into close, narrative Brazilian songs. Voices sit forward while acoustic guitars and bass carry the body of the music; dry percussion and blues-toned electric guitar add tension without taking over. Across Brazilian song, indie folk and restrained blues, each album changes setting without losing its eye for concrete human gestures.
